The Cygnet Aerospace GPS Mount is designed for the Garmin 196, 295, 296, 396 and 496. It attaches in a few minutes to the existing coverplate mounting screws found on the Cygnet Dual Control. Installation results in the GPS screen centered on the control wheel center line.

The Cygnet GPS Mount allows you to use the plastic snap-in cradle supplied with Garmin GPS units. Installation is simple and fast. The GPS is easily removed at any time.

The Cygnet GPS Mount is optimized to ensure the GPS screen is in view with the basic instrument scan. This GPS screen position can often be superior to panel mounted systems that cost significantly more.

Standard Kit
For single engine aircraft using the Cygnet Dual Contol

Cygnet provides both Standard and Mid-Arm position installation kits. The Standard Kit includes all components required for either "Vee" up or "Vee" down mounting in the standard position which is located at the end of the control arm.

Mid-Arm Kit
For single engine aircraft using the Cygnet Dual Contol

Cygnet offers a Mid-Arm GPS Mounting Kit for installations where the standard position may impair visibility of instruments on the lower instrument panel.

The Mid-Arm Kit includes all components for either "Vee" up or "Vee" down mounting in the mid-arm position.

V-Up Kit
For single or twin engine aircraft using the Cygnet Dual Control in the V-Up position

Cygnet offers the V-Up Kit for those customers who know they have a "Vee" up Dual Control installation, but may still want the option to install their GPS in either the standard or mid-arm position. Baron customers this kit is for you. In a Baron the Cygnet Dual Control must be installed "Vee" up. With the V-Up GPS Mounting Kit's flexibility, Baron owners still have an option of how to install their GPS for optimum visibility.

V-Down Kit
For single engine aircraft with the Cygnet Dual Control in the V-Down position

Cygnet offers the V-Down Kit for those customers who know they have a "Vee" down Dual Control installation, but may still want the option to install their GPS in either the standard or mid-arm position.

Both the V-Up and the V-Down Kits include two brackets; one for standard and one for mid-arm posititoning, and one set of the necessary mounting hardware.

NOTE: Each mount installation will be slightly different. It's easy to simulate various positions before deciding on a particular mount. Position the control wheel in the "elevator neutral" position and place your GPS on the arm to determine if the Standard or Mid-Arm mount works best for you.
